How to get to Thassos

You can get to Thassos in two ways:

From the port of Kavala

y ferry boat from the port of Kavala, you reach the port of Skala Prinos after a route which lasts for 1.15 hr. From there, by bus or by your own vehicle, and after 40 km heading northeast you will reach Kinira. Please see the map above for the exact location of Pension Assos.

From the port of Keramoti

y ferry boat from the port of Keramoti, you reach the port of Limenas after a route which lasts for 40 minutes. From there, by bus or by your own vehicle, and after 20 km you reach, heading southeast, the village of Kinira. Please see the map above for the exact location of Pension Assos.

By airplane

A

lthough Thassos does not have an airport, you can use the airport of Megas Alexandros with is based at Chrisoupoli. There are plenty daily flights from and to Athens and other major European cities. From there, by taxi, you reach the port of Keramoti and then follow the directions giver above.
